On May 6, 2022, the Municipality of Thessaloniki and Q-PLAN International visited Hellenic Waste Management S.A. (ELDIA) and discussed with the CEO, Mr. Dimitrios Gortzis about recycling, the circular economy, and their application in the city of Thessaloniki, including challenges and problems the city faces. With this basis, several forms of cooperation between the agencies were discussed, with a view to a realistic impact on the city of Thessaloniki.

Visit of SKG Makers in ELDIA
Mr. Gortzis then took the SKG Makers representatives on a tour of ELDIA’s facilities, demonstrating state-of-the-art technologies and high-end processes. The appointment was renewed with enough ideas and appetite for the next steps.
