Nikos Hadjioanou

Head of Entrepreneurship Support Department MoThess

Nikos Hadjioannou is an Electrical Engineer from the Polytechnic School of Thessaloniki and holds a master's degree in Urban and Building Environmental Design. He is the head of the Entrepreneurship Support Department of the Entrepreneur Service Directorate of the Municipality of Thessaloniki. He has worked for 20 years in the Municipality’s waste management sector and supports the role of new, social, and innovative businesses in the circular economy sector.

Panorea (Rea) Sakellariou

Graduated from the School of Administration and Economics of the TEI of Athens, the Panteion University, Department of Sociology, and the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Departments of Primary Education Pedagogy and German Philology. She worked as a private employee in Greece and in Europe till 2005, when she was appointed as an administrative employee in the Local Municipal in departments related to the support and service of entrepreneurs.

Nikolaos Tsoniotis holds an MEng in Electronic Engineering & Electronic Communication Eng. from the University of Hull, UK and started his engineering career, working as a Telecoms R&D Engineer for over a decade. He has worked as an academic researcher investigating emerging technologies and how they apply in Education, Transport, Energy and other sectors. He is a serial entrepreneur with ICT and Energy sector efforts, coach/mentor in various startup support organizations, and project manager at SKG Makers makerspace. He is the co-founder of Ideas Forward, focusing on product strategy, innovation management and blockchain technologies.

Byron Chrysovergis

Innovation Management

Byron Chrysovergis holds a Master in Mechanical Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, specializing in Industrial Management, and a Master of Science in Management of Technology from Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands. He has worked as an Investment Associate at YES!Delft, the largest European tech startup accelerator, as an Operations Manager at OK!Thess, and as a Technology Transfer Consultant at the Technology Transfer Office of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

Dimitrios Daskalakis

Mr. Dimitrios Daskalakis holds a diploma in Mechanical Engineering and is a founding partner and the Director of Q-PLAN INTERNATIONAL (since its establishment in 2000). His fields of experience (since 1995) include (i) Quality management in several large-scale projects (e.g. international studies, R Research & Innovation projects, etc.); (ii) Coordination/ Project Management in several Research & Innovation projects (FP6, FP7, LIFE+, H2020 etc.); (iii) Implementation and auditing of management systems to be certified or accredited (more than 50 completed projects, covering a broad spectrum of standards, sectors of activity, size and ownership state).

Margarita Angelidou

Scientific Expert and Project Manager at Q-PLAN INTERNATIONAL

Dr. Margarita Angelidou, MSc, MBA, PhD, is an architect and urban planner with specialization in urban and social innovation, smart and intelligent cities, sustainable urban development, and collaborative urban planning. Since 2005 she has been working as a researcher, as well as a project manager in over 20 national and international Research and Innovation projects, while she frequently assumes expert assignments for the European Commission. Her published work has achieved international recognition. In SKG Makers she is working on the characteristics of the emerging models of decentralized urban production (Fab City) and their contribution to circular city development and urban regeneration.

Dr. Apostolos Tsolakis, MSc, PhD, is and Electrical and Computer Engineer. He has years of experience with a highly diverse scientific and commercial background in ICT-oriented R&D&I projects across diverse sectors (i.e., Energy, Health, Construction, Space, and more). He has been acting either as the Coordinator, Technical Manager, Project Manager, or Research Associate, with a good truck of professional and scientific results.
